पृथां समागत्य कृताभिवादन- स्तयातिहार्दार्द्रद‍ृशाभिरम्भित: । आपृष्टवांस्तां कुशलं सहस्‍नुषां पितृष्वसारं परिपृष्टबान्धव: ॥ ७ ॥

Transliteration

pṛthām samāgatya kṛtābhivādanas tayāti-hārdārdra-dṛśābhirambhitaḥ āpṛṣṭavāṁs tāṁ kuśalaṁ saha-snuṣāṁ pitṛ-ṣvasāram paripṛṣṭa-bāndhavaḥ

Translation

Rồi Chúa đến thăm người cô của Ngài, Hoàng hậu Kuntī. Ngài cúi lạy, và Kuntī ôm lấy Ngài với đôi mắt đẫm lệ vì tình thương sâu nặng. Śrī Kṛṣṇa hỏi thăm an lành của Kuntī và nàng dâu Draupadī; còn họ thì hỏi Ngài thật lâu về thân quyến của Ngài ở Dvārakā.

Purport

Viśvanātha Cakravartī Ṭhākura envisions that as Lord Kṛṣṇa was sitting on His seat, He saw His aunt Kuntī approaching in great eagerness to see Him. He then rose at once, quickly went up to her and offered His obeisances. Her eyes moistened with extreme love, she embraced Him and smelled His head.
