Pradyumna’s Abduction, Mahā-māyā, and the Slaying of Śambara
sa eva vā bhaven nūnaṁ yo me garbhe dhṛto ’rbhakaḥ amuṣmin prītir adhikā vāmaḥ sphurati me bhujaḥ
In this verse, Rukmiṇī interprets the throbbing of her left arm as an auspicious sign confirming a joyful truth—her deep intuition that the young man is her lost son.
Because her affection surged spontaneously and bodily omens appeared, she concluded that he must be the same child who had been taken away after birth—Pradyumna.
It highlights how pure love and sincerity sharpen intuition; when the heart is clean, one naturally recognizes truth and receives inner confirmation without manipulation or fear.
