taṁ praśrayeṇāvanatāḥ su-sat-kṛtaṁ sa-vrīḍa-hāsekṣaṇa-sūnṛtādibhiḥ rahasy apṛcchann upaviṣṭam āsane vijñāya sandeśa-haraṁ ramā-pateḥ

Translation

Các gopī cúi đầu khiêm cung, tiếp đãi Uddhava bằng nụ cười e thẹn, ánh nhìn dịu dàng và lời nói ngọt lành. Rồi họ đưa chàng đến nơi kín đáo, mời ngồi trên chỗ ngồi êm thuận, và nhận ra chàng là sứ giả của Śrī Kṛṣṇa—phu quân của Nữ thần Lakṣmī—nên bắt đầu hỏi han những điều thầm kín.
