Uddhava Sent to Vraja: Consolation to Nanda-Yaśodā and the Gopīs’ Separation
मन्ये कृष्णं च रामं च प्राप्ताविह सुरोत्तमौ । सुराणां महदर्थाय गर्गस्य वचनं यथा ॥ २३ ॥
manye kṛṣṇaṁ ca rāmaṁ ca prāptāv iha surottamau surāṇāṁ mahad-arthāya gargasya vacanaṁ yathā
Theo ý tôi, Kṛṣṇa và Rāma hẳn là hai vị thiên thần tối thượng đã đến cõi này để hoàn thành sứ mạng lớn lao của chư thiên, đúng như lời tiên tri của hiền triết Garga.
This verse shows Nanda Mahārāja recalling Garga Muni’s earlier words and concluding that Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma are extraordinary, having appeared for a great divine purpose.
