Akrūra’s Mission: The Departure from Vraja and the Yamunā Vision of Viṣṇu-Ananta
It says Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma heard Akrūra’s words, smiled, and understood that Nanda Mahārāja had been summoned by the king’s command.
Kaṁsa had arranged to draw Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma to Mathurā; summoning Nanda was part of the royal pretext connected with the planned festivities and Kaṁsa’s hidden intent.
A devotee can learn steadiness: even when events are unsettling, one can remain composed, trust divine purpose, and act responsibly without panic.
