Veṇu-gīta-āhvāna and the Gopīs’ Appeal: The Opening of Rāsa-līlā
कामं क्रोधं भयं स्नेहमैक्यं सौहृदमेव च । नित्यं हरौ विदधतो यान्ति तन्मयतां हि ते ॥ १५ ॥
kāmaṁ krodhaṁ bhayaṁ sneham aikyaṁ sauhṛdam eva ca nityaṁ harau vidadhato yānti tan-mayatāṁ hi te
Ai luôn hướng dục vọng, giận dữ, sợ hãi, tình thương che chở, cảm giác hợp nhất hay tình bạn về nơi Hari, người ấy chắc chắn trở nên thấm nhập trong Ngài.
Lord Kṛṣṇa is pure spiritual existence, and those who somehow or other become attached to Him, absorbed in thoughts of Him, rise to the spiritual platform. This is the absolute nature of the Lord’s personal association.
This verse says that any intense emotion—lust, anger, fear, affection, oneness, or friendship—when constantly directed toward Hari leads to absorption in Him.
He is explaining the power of single-minded focus on Kṛṣṇa: in Vraja-līlā, the gopīs’ exclusive absorption exemplifies how directing the mind to Kṛṣṇa brings one to Him.
Whatever emotion dominates you, consciously redirect it toward God—through nāma-japa, prayer, kīrtana, and remembrance—so the mind becomes steadily absorbed in Hari.
