Indra’s Prayers and the Coronation of Śrī Kṛṣṇa as Govinda
Govindābhiṣeka
This verse shows surrender as recognizing Krishna as the Supreme Lord, guru, and indwelling Self, and taking refuge in Him after abandoning pride and futile opposition.
After Krishna protected Vraja by lifting Govardhana and Indra’s storm failed, Indra realized his arrogance and approached Krishna to seek forgiveness and shelter.
When ego-driven plans collapse, use the moment to cultivate humility, accept higher guidance, and consciously align your actions with devotion, service, and truth rather than pride.
