ननु स्वार्थविमूढानां प्रमत्तानां गृहेहया । अहो न: स्मारयामास गोपवाक्यै: सतां गति: ॥ ४५ ॥

Transliteration

nanu svārtha-vimūḍhānāṁ pramattānāṁ gṛhehayā aho naḥ smārayām āsa gopa-vākyaiḥ satāṁ gatiḥ

Translation

Quả thật, vì mê đắm việc nhà, chúng tôi bị lợi ích riêng làm mờ trí và trở nên lơ đãng, nên đã hoàn toàn lệch khỏi mục đích chân thật của đời sống. Nhưng hãy xem, qua lời của những cậu bé chăn bò giản dị này, Chúa đã nhắc chúng tôi nhớ đến đích đến tối thượng của các bậc thánh hiền.
