evaṁ pṛthv-ādayaḥ pṛthvīm annādāḥ svannam ātmanaḥ doha-vatsādi-bhedena kṣīra-bhedaṁ kurūdvaha

Translation

Hỡi Vidura, bậc đứng đầu nhà Kuru, như thế vua Pṛthu và mọi loài nương nhờ lương thực đã, tùy theo cách vắt, bê con và bình chứa khác nhau, rút từ Địa Mẫu những “dòng sữa” khác nhau để nhận phần ăn của mình—được biểu trưng bằng sữa.
