Pṛthu Pursues the Earth and the Earth Takes the Form of a Cow

य एतदादावसृजच्चराचरं स्वमाययात्माश्रययावितर्क्यया । तयैव सोऽयं किल गोप्तुमुद्यत: कथं नु मां धर्मपरो जिघांसति ॥ ३१ ॥
ya etad ādāv asṛjac carācaraṁ sva-māyayātmāśrayayāvitarkyayā tayaiva so ’yaṁ kila goptum udyataḥ kathaṁ nu māṁ dharma-paro jighāṁsati
Lạy Chúa, thuở ban đầu Ngài đã tạo nên mọi loài động và bất động bằng năng lực bất khả tư nghì, tự nương nơi chính Ngài. Cũng chính năng lực ấy nay Ngài sẵn sàng che chở muôn loài; Ngài là Đấng hộ trì dharma tối thượng. Vậy cớ sao Ngài lại muốn giết con, dù con đang mang hình bò?
