अहो उभयत: प्राप्तं लोकस्य व्यसनं महत् । दारुण्युभयतो दीप्ते इव तस्करपालयो: ॥ ८ ॥

Transliteration

aho ubhayataḥ prāptaṁ lokasya vyasanaṁ mahat dāruṇy ubhayato dīpte iva taskara-pālayoḥ

Translation

Than ôi! Dân chúng lâm nguy từ cả hai phía—như đàn kiến ở giữa khúc gỗ cháy rực hai đầu. Một bên là vị vua vô trách nhiệm, bên kia là bọn trộm cướp gian tà.
