एतत् कल्पविकल्पस्य प्रमाणं परिकीर्तितम् । यत्र मन्वन्तराण्याहुश्चतुर्दश पुराविद: ॥ ११ ॥

Transliteration

etat kalpa-vikalpasya pramāṇaṁ parikīrtitam yatra manvantarāṇy āhuś caturdaśa purāvidaḥ

Translation

Tâu Đại vương, trong một kalpa, tức một ngày của Phạm Thiên, diễn ra nhiều biến đổi gọi là vikalpa; chứng cứ ấy ta đã thuật lại từ trước. Các bậc thông hiểu Purāṇa xác quyết rằng trong một ngày của Phạm Thiên có mười bốn thời kỳ Manu (manvantara).
