The Future Manus and the Avatāras in Their Manvantaras
श्रीशुक उवाच मनुर्विवस्वत: पुत्र: श्राद्धदेव इति श्रुत: । सप्तमो वर्तमानो यस्तदपत्यानि मे शृणु ॥ १ ॥
śrī-śuka uvāca manur vivasvataḥ putraḥ śrāddhadeva iti śrutaḥ saptamo vartamāno yas tad-apatyāni me śṛṇu
Śukadeva Gosvāmī nói: Manu hiện tại, được biết đến với danh xưng Śrāddhadeva, là con của Vivasvān—vị thần chủ quản mặt trời. Ngài là Manu thứ bảy. Nay hãy nghe ta kể về các con trai của ngài.
