Gajendra Prelude
Devahūti’s son was known as Kapila, and Ākūti’s son was known as Yajñamūrti. Both of Them taught about religion and philosophical knowledge.
This verse says the Supreme Lord accepts birth (as a son) specifically to teach dharma and spiritual knowledge to the world.
Śukadeva Gosvāmī is narrating to Mahārāja Parīkṣit while describing the Manus and the Lord’s arrangements for guiding the universe.
Treat divine teachings as practical guidance: live ethically (dharma) while pursuing inner realization (jñāna), using scripture and saintly instruction as your daily compass.
