मेधामहं प्रथमां ब्रह्मण्वतीं ब्रह्मजूतामृषिष्टुताम्। प्रपीतां ब्रह्मचारिभिर्देवानामवसे हुवे

IAST Transliteration

medhā́m aháṃ prathamā́ṃ brahmaṇvatī́ṃ brahmajū́tām ṛ́ṣi-stutām | prápītāṃ brahmacāríbhir devā́nām ávase huve ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Medhā I call—the first and foremost—rich in brahman, driven on by brahman, lauded of the seers; yea, Medhā well imbibed by the brahmacārins: her I invoke for the gods’ succour.

Translation

Ta khẩn thỉnh Medhā—bậc đầu tiên và tối thượng—tràn đầy brahman, được brahman thúc đẩy, được các ṛṣi ca tụng; phải, Medhā đã được các brahmacārin tiếp nhận và thấm nhuần trọn vẹn—ta thỉnh nàng vì sự phù trợ của chư thần.
