Sukta 106
अपामिदं न्ययनं समुद्रस्य निवेशनम्। मध्ये ह्रदस्य नो गृहाः पराचीना मुखा कृधि
apā́m idáṃ nyáyanam samudrásya nivéśanam | mádhye hradásya no gṛhā́ḥ parācī́nā múkhā kṛdhi ||
This is the waters’ downward-leading, the sea’s resting-place. In the midst of the pool set thou our houses, with faces turned away.
Đây là lối dẫn nước chảy xuống, là chỗ an trú của biển cả. Giữa lòng ao hồ, xin đặt nhà cửa của chúng tôi, khiến mặt (cửa) quay đi, hướng ra xa.
