Sukta 82
यदिन्द्र यावतस्त्वमेतावदहमीशीय । स्तोतारमिद् दिधिषेय रदावसो न पापत्वाय रासीय
yádi índra yā́vatas tvám etā́vad ahám ī́śīya | stótāram íd didhiṣeya radāvaso ná pā́patvāya rāsīya ||
If, Indra, to what extent thou art mighty, to that same extent may I have mastery. The praiser—yea, him—would I set in firm place, O wealth-bestower; I would not give (aught) over unto evil.
Nếu, hỡi Indra, ngài hùng mạnh đến mức nào, thì xin cho ta cũng làm chủ được đến mức ấy. Hỡi đấng ban của cải, ta sẽ đặt người ca tụng—chính người ấy—vào chỗ vững bền; ta sẽ không trao (điều gì) cho sự ác.
