त्वं तमिन्द्र पर्वतं महामुरुं वज्रेण वज्रिन् पर्वशश्चकर्तिथ । अवासृजो निवृताः सर्तवा अपः सत्रा विश्वं दधिषे केवलं सहः
tváṃ tám indra párvataṃ mahā́murúṃ vájreṇa vajrin párvaśaś cakartitha | ávā́sṛjo nívṛtāḥ sártavā́ ápaḥ satrā́ víśvaṃ dadhíṣe kévalaṃ sáhaḥ
Thou, Indra, that great broad mountain—O Bolt-bearer—didst with the thunderbolt hew joint from joint. Thou didst let loose the waters, pent and hindered, to run forth; and wholly thou upholdest all with force, with sheer unmingled might.
Hỡi Indra, Đấng cầm Lôi chùy, ngài đã dùng vajra chẻ ngọn núi lớn rộng kia, chặt rời từng khớp từng đoạn. Ngài đã thả cho các dòng nước bị giam hãm, bị ngăn trở, tuôn chạy ra; và ngài dùng sức mạnh thuần nhất, không pha tạp, nâng đỡ trọn vẹn muôn loài.
