अव द्रप्सो अंशुमतीमतिष्ठदियानः कृष्णो दशभिः सहस्रैः । आवत्तमिन्द्रः शच्या धमन्तमपस्नेहितीर्नृमणा अधत्त

IAST Transliteration

áva drapso aṃśumátīm atiṣṭhad iyānáḥ kṛṣṇó daśábhiḥ sahásraiḥ | āvattám índraḥ śácyā dhámantam apásnehitīr nṛmáṇā adhatta

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Downward the drop took station in the radiant stream, moving, dark, with tenfold thousands. Indra, with his might, established it as it rolled and was driven on—cleansing away adhesions—delighting men.

Translation

Giọt ấy đi xuống, đứng yên trong dòng sáng rực; đang chuyển động, sẫm đen, mang sức của mười lần ngàn. Indra, với quyền năng (Śacī) của mình, đã đặt vững nó khi nó cuộn lăn và bị thúc đẩy—tẩy sạch những thứ bám dính—làm lòng người hoan hỷ.
