Sukta 137
त्वं ह त्यत्सप्तभ्यो जायमानोऽशत्रुभ्यो अभवः शत्रुरिन्द्र । गूल्हे द्यावापृथिवी अन्वविन्दो विभुमद्भ्यो भुवनेभ्यो रणं धाः
tváṁ ha tyát saptábhyo jā́yamāno ’śatrúbhyo abhavaḥ śátrur indra | gūḷhé dyā́vā-pṛthivī́ ánv-avindo vibhúmadbhyo bhúvanebhyo ráṇaṁ dhāḥ ||
Thou, even from thy birth for the Seven, wast foe to foes and friend to the unhostile, O Indra. Hidden, Heaven and Earth thou didst track and find; from the wide worlds thou didst set battle in place.
Chính Ngài, từ lúc sinh ra vì ‘bảy vị’ (sapta), đã là kẻ thù của kẻ thù và là bạn của người không thù nghịch, hỡi Indra. Trời và Đất ẩn kín, Ngài đã lần theo mà tìm thấy; từ những cõi rộng lớn, Ngài đã đặt định nơi chốn giao tranh.
