Sukta 137
त्वं ह त्यदप्रतिमानमोजो वज्रेण वज्रिन्धृषितो जघन्थ । त्वं शुष्णस्यावातिरो वधत्रैस्त्वं गा इन्द्र शच्येदविन्दः
tváṁ ha tyád apratimā́nám ójo vájreṇa vajrin dhṛṣitó jaghántha | tváṁ śúṣṇasyā́vātiró vádhatrāis tváṁ gā́ indra śácyéd avindaḥ ||
Thou, O bolt-bearer, didst with the thunderbolt in daring smite that matchless might; thou didst bring low Śuṣṇa with slaying weapons; thou, O Indra, didst verily by thy efficacious power win the cows.
Ngài, hỡi Đấng mang lôi chùy (vajra), đã dùng vajra mà trong gan dạ đánh gục sức mạnh vô song ấy. Ngài đã quật ngã Śuṣṇa (Śuṣṇa) bằng những vũ khí sát phạt; và chính Ngài, hỡi Indra, quả thật nhờ năng lực linh nghiệm của mình (śacī) mà giành được đàn bò.
