अनु ते शुष्मं तुरयन्तमीयतुः क्षोणी शिशुं न मातरा । विश्वास्ते स्पृधः श्नथयन्त मन्यवे वृत्रं यदिन्द्र तूर्वसि

IAST Transliteration

ánu te śúṣmaṃ turáyantam īyatuḥ kṣóṇī śiśúṃ na mātárā́ | víśvā́s te spṛ́dhaḥ śnathayanta manyáve vṛtráṃ yád índra tū́rvasi

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

After thy rushing might the two sustaining Worlds speed, as two Mothers to a child. All rival hostilities of thine they crush for thy wrath, when, O Indra, thou prevailest over Vṛtra.

Translation

Sau sức mạnh xông tới của Ngài, hai cõi nâng đỡ—đất và trời—vội vã theo sau, như hai người mẹ hướng về đứa con thơ. Mọi sự đối địch, mọi cuộc tranh chấp chống Ngài đều bị nghiền nát vì cơn thịnh nộ của Ngài; khi Ngài thắng thế, hỡi Indra, Ngài khuất phục Vṛtra.
