अग्निमग्निं हवीमभिः सदा हवन्त विश्पतिम्। हव्यवाहं पुरुप्रियम्

agním-agníṃ havī́mabhiḥ sádā havanta viśpátim | havyavā́haṃ purupriyám

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Agni—Agni—men ever invoke with oblations, the lord of the folk, the oblation-bearer, the many-beloved.

Translation

Con người luôn luôn khấn gọi Agni, Agni bằng lễ phẩm (havis)—Chúa của dân (viśpati), Đấng mang lễ phẩm (havyavāha), Đấng được nhiều người yêu mến.
