Sukta 9
bráhma prajā́patir dhā́tā lokā́ vedā́ḥ saptárṣayo ’gnáyaḥ | táir me kṛtáṃ svastí-ayanam índro me śárma yacchatu bráhmā me śárma yacchatu | víśve me devā́ḥ śárma yacchantu sárve me devā́ḥ śárma yacchantu
Brahman, Prajāpati, Dhātṛ, the Worlds, the Vedas, the Seven Seers, the Fires—by these for me is wrought a path of welfare. Let Indra grant me shelter; let Brahmā grant me shelter. Let all the Gods grant me shelter; let all the Gods, every one, grant me shelter.
