जगतो राजा इन्द्रो राजा जगतश्चर्षणीनामधि क्षमि विषुरूपं यदस्ति । ततो ददाति दाशुषे वसूनि चोदद् राध उपस्तुतश्चिदर्वाक्
jágato rājā índro rājā jágatas carṣaṇīnā́m ádhi kṣámi víṣurūpaṃ yád ásti | táto dadāti dāśúṣe vásūni códád rā́dha úpastutaś cid árvāk ||
Indra is King of the moving world, King of the world and of the tribes of men; over earth he rules whatever of manifold form exists. Thence he bestows riches on the pious giver; his bounty, though but praised, is urged hitherward unto us.
Indra là vua của thế giới đang chuyển động, là vua của thế gian và của các bộ tộc loài người; trên mặt đất, ngài cai trị mọi điều hiện hữu với muôn hình muôn vẻ. Từ đó ngài ban của cải cho người dâng hiến (dāśuṣ); ân huệ của ngài, dẫu chỉ được tán tụng, cũng được thúc giục mà hướng về chúng ta.
