Sukta 4
परा यात पितरः सोम्यासो गम्भीरैः पथिभिः पूर्याणैः । अधा मासि पुनरा यात नो गृहान् हविरत्तुं सुप्रजसः सुवीराः
párā yāta pitaraḥ somyā́so gambhīráiḥ pathíbhiḥ pūryā́naiḥ | ádha mā́si púnar ā́ yāta no gṛhā́n havír áttum suprajā́saḥ suvī́rāḥ ||
Depart, O Fathers, soma-loving, by the deep paths, the ancient ways. Then, in the month, come ye again unto our homes to eat the oblation—ye of good progeny, ye of good heroes.
Hãy ra đi, hỡi các Tổ phụ, những vị yêu Soma (somya), theo những con đường sâu thẳm—những nẻo xưa cũ. Rồi đến kỳ của tháng, xin lại trở về nhà chúng tôi để thọ hưởng lễ phẩm (havis)—hỡi các Ngài có con cháu tốt lành, có những dũng sĩ tốt lành.
