Sukta 22
ánu sū́ryam úd ayatāṃ hṛd-dayóto harímā ca te | gó rohítasya várṇena téna tvā pári dadhmasi
After the Sun let it arise: from thy heart let the yellowing go forth. With the hue of the red cow—with that same (hue) we encompass and bestow it upon thee.
Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (exact r̥ṣi attribution varies by anukramaṇī for this hymn)
Devata: Sūrya (as catalytic healer) and Harimā (as personified disease to be expelled)
Chandas: Anuṣṭubh (predominant Atharvanic healing meter; this verse conforms broadly to anuṣṭubh cadence)
