पुरस्तादध्याघाते मकरेण यायात्पश्चाच्छकटेन पार्श्वयोर्वज्रेण समन्ततः सर्वतोभद्रेण एकायने सूच्या ॥ कZ_१०.२.०९ ॥

Transliteration

purastād adhyāghāte makareṇa yāyāt paścāc chakaṭena pārśvayor vajreṇa samantataḥ sarvatobhadreṇa ekāyane sūcyā

Translation

Khi dự liệu bị đánh chính diện, tiến theo đội hình «makara»; khi bị đe doạ từ phía sau, dùng đội hình «chakaṭa» (xe/xe bò); khi bị đe doạ ở hai sườn, dùng đội hình «vajra» (kim cương/lôi chùy); khi bị đe doạ tứ phía, dùng đội hình «sarvatobhadra» (toàn hướng); trên một lối mòn hẹp duy nhất, dùng đội hình «sūcī» (mũi kim).
