Ayurvedic chikitsā: it prescribes gomūtra for pāṇḍu-roga, a ghṛta preparation with the two rajanīs (turmeric-types), and oil-based niṣeka (pouring/affusion therapy) for ānāha (distension/blocked vāta).
It shows the Agni Purana functioning as a compendium beyond mythology—recording practical medical protocols (diet/drugs/external therapies) alongside its ritual, dharma, and śāstra materials.
By framing healing as dharmic knowledge transmitted in a Purāṇic setting, the verse treats healthcare as a righteous duty—supporting bodily purity and capacity for ritual life, with traditionally purificatory substances (like gomūtra) also carrying a śauca (purification) connotation.
