tamāgamya suraśreṣṭho viṣṇuḥ siṃhavapurdharaḥ pratyakṣaṃ dānavendrāṇāṃ nakhaistaṃ hi vyadārayat

پھر دیوتاؤں میں برتر وِشنو نے شیر کا روپ دھار کر آ کر، دانَووں کے سرداروں کے عین سامنے اپنے ناخنوں سے اسے چاک کر دیا۔
