यद्वा मण्डलाद्वा स्तनबिम्बमेकं मुखं चाधस्त्रीणि गुहा सदनानि । कामी कलां काम्यरूपां विदित्वा नरो जायते कामरूपश्च काम्यः ॥११॥

IAST Transliteration

yadvā maṇḍalādvā stanabimbam ekaṃ mukhaṃ cādhas trīṇi guhā sadanāni | kāmī kalāṃ kāmyarūpāṃ viditvā naro jāyate kāmarūpaś ca kāmyaḥ ||11||

Translation

خواہ منڈل (دائرہ) سے ہو یا ستن بِمب (پستان کے گولے) سے، ایک ہی ‘مُکھ’ (دہانہ) ہے؛ اور نیچے تین غاریں ہیں جو مسکن ہیں۔ جو ‘کامی’ کلا کو—جس کی صورت مطلوب و مرغوب ہے—جان لیتا ہے، وہ انسان خواہش کی صورت والا بن جاتا ہے اور خود بھی مطلوب و مرغوب ہو جاتا ہے۔

Academic Translation

Whether from the circle (maṇḍala) or from the breast-orb (stanabimba), there is one ‘mouth’; and below are three caves, the abodes. Knowing the desiring (kāmī) kalā, whose form is the desirable, a man becomes of the form of desire and becomes desirable.
