Sita
भूदेवी ससागराम्भःसप्तद्वीपा वसुन्धरा भूरादिचतुर्दशभुवनानामाधाराधेया प्रणवात्मिका भवति॥१७॥
भू-देवी । स-सागर-अम्भः-सप्त-द्वीपा । वसुन्धरा । भूः-आदि-चतुर्दश-भुवनानाम् । आधार-आधेया । प्रणव-आत्मिका । भवति ॥१७॥
bhūdevī sasāgarāmbhaḥsaptadvīpā vasundharā bhūrādicaturdaśabhuvanānām ādhārādheyā praṇavātmikā bhavati ||17||
بھودیوی، یعنی دھرتی، سمندروں کے پانیوں سمیت سات دیپوں کو سنبھالنے والی، ‘وسندھرا’ ہے۔ وہ بھو سے آغاز ہونے والے چودہ بھونوں کی آدھار بھی ہے اور آدھاریت بھی، اور وہ پرنَو (اوم) کی سُرُوپتا اختیار کرتی ہے۔
The Goddess Bhū—(as) the Earth, bearing the seven continents with the waters of the oceans—(is) Vasundharā; she is the support and the supported (i.e., the ground and what is grounded) of the fourteen worlds beginning with Bhū, and she becomes of the nature of Praṇava (Oṃ).
