Paingala Upanishad 30 — Verse 30

tad viṣṇoḥ paramaṃ padaṃ sadā paśyanti sūrayaḥ | divīva cakṣur ātatam ||30||

That highest station of Viṣṇu the seers always behold—like an eye spread out in heaven.

Paramapada / supreme reality as ever-visible to the illumined; Brahman as the highest ‘abode’Mahavakya: Indirect: can be read non-dually as the ‘supreme abode’ of Brahman realized by the wise, consonant with “प्रज्ञानं ब्रह्म (prajñānaṃ brahma)”—the all-pervading ‘eye’ as consciousness.AtharvaChandas: Triṣṭubh (Vedic; from Ṛgveda 1.22.20)
