Paingala Upanishad 24 — Verse 24

अनन्तकर्मशौचं च जपो यज्ञस्तथैव च। तीर्थयात्राभिगमनं यावत्तत्त्वं न विन्दति॥२४॥

अनन्त-कर्म-शौचम् । च । जपः । यज्ञः । तथा एव । च । तीर्थ-यात्रा-अभिगमनम् । यावत् । तत्त्वम् । न । विन्दति ॥२४॥

anantakarmaśaucaṃ ca japo yajñas tathaiva ca | tīrthayātrābhigamanaṃ yāvat tattvaṃ na vindati ||24||

لا انتہا کرم و طہارتیں، اور جپ، اور یَجْن بھی، اور تیرتھ یاترا کی حاضری—یہ سب تب تک رہتا ہے جب تک کوئی تتّو، یعنی حقیقت، کو نہ پا لے۔

Endless rites and purifications, and japa, and sacrifice likewise, and going on pilgrimages—[all this continues] so long as one does not find the Reality (tattva).
