हर एव विजानाति कारणं कतमोऽपि न । एवं तथेति तौ प्रोक्त्वा संस्थितौ पर्वतोऽपि सः

hara eva vijānāti kāraṇaṃ katamo'pi na | evaṃ tatheti tau proktvā saṃsthitau parvato'pi saḥ

“سبب صرف ہَر (شیو) ہی جانتے ہیں؛ اور کوئی بالکل نہیں جانتا۔” یوں کہہ کر—“یوں ہی ہو”—وہ دونوں ٹھہر گئے، اور وہ پہاڑ بھی ثابت قدم رہا۔
