puṇyasaṃkhyā ca tīrthānāṃ brahmaṇā vihitā purā | dānādhyayana saṃjñānāṃ muktvā dvāravatīṃ kalau

Translation

پہلے برہما نے تیرتھوں کے پُنّیہ کی مقدار مقرر کی تھی؛ مگر کلی یگ میں دواروتی کو چھوڑ کر دان، ادھیयन اور معروف دھارمک اعمال کے پُنّیہ ماند پڑ جاتے ہیں۔
