itihāsaṃ purāvṛttaṃ varṇayiṣye manoharam | tīrthakṣetrādidevānāmṛṣīṇāṃ saṃśayāpaham

میں ایک دلکش قدیم حکایت بیان کروں گا، جو تیرتھوں، مقدّس کھیتر اور ان کے نگہبان دیوتاؤں کے بارے میں رشیوں کے شکوک دور کر دیتی ہے۔
