विलयं यांति पापानि जन्मकोटिकृतान्यपि । वृथा संन्यासिनां पुण्यं वृथा च वनवासिनाम्
vilayaṃ yāṃti pāpāni janmakoṭikṛtānyapi | vṛthā saṃnyāsināṃ puṇyaṃ vṛthā ca vanavāsinām
‘کروڑوں جنموں کے کیے ہوئے پاپ بھی مٹ جاتے ہیں۔ اس کے مقابلے میں سنیاسیوں کا پُنّیہ گویا بے سود، اور بن باسیوں کا پُنّیہ بھی گویا بے سود ہے۔’
