yo'tra snānaṃ prakurute mayasya sarasi priyāḥ | gaṃgāsnānaphalaṃ tasya viṣṇulokastathā'kṣayaḥ
Śrī Kṛṣṇa
Tirtha: Māyā-saras
Type: kund
Listener: Pilgrims/ṛṣis (contextual)
Scene: Devotees bathe in a lotus lake named Māyā-saras; above, a subtle vision of Viṣṇu-loka—radiant Vaikuṇṭha—appears, signifying the promised imperishable realm; Gaṅgā is symbolically echoed in the water’s glow.
A local tīrtha, when divinely praised, can confer merits comparable to pan-Indian pilgrimage like Gaṅgā-bathing.
Mayasya-saras (the lake of Maya), a Dvārakā tīrtha in this adhyāya.
Perform snāna (ritual bathing) in Mayasya-saras to obtain Gaṅgā-snāna merit and Viṣṇu-loka.
