उद्भाति स्थितिमाप्नोति तथा विलयमेति च । तल्लिंगं लिंगमित्याहुर्लयनात्तत्त्ववित्तमाः
udbhāti sthitimāpnoti tathā vilayameti ca | talliṃgaṃ liṃgamityāhurlayanāttattvavittamāḥ
وہ جلوہ گر ہوتا ہے، استحکام پاتا ہے اور پھر فنا (لَے) میں بھی چلا جاتا ہے۔ اسی لیے حقیقت شناس اسے ‘لِنگ’ کہتے ہیں، کیونکہ لَے کے وقت یہ سب کو اپنے اندر جذب کر لیتا ہے۔
