शौनक उवाच । देवेंद्रो हि महाभाग न ददाति कदाचन । कथं बलिरसौ दाता कथयस्व यथातथम्
śaunaka uvāca | deveṃdro hi mahābhāga na dadāti kadācana | kathaṃ balirasau dātā kathayasva yathātatham
شَونک نے کہا: “اے نہایت بخت ور! دیویندر (اِندر) تو کبھی دان نہیں دیتا۔ پھر یہ بلی کیسے بڑا داتا کہلاتا ہے؟ جیسا حقیقت ہے ویسا ہمیں بتائیے۔”
