घृतेन दीपयेद्दीपाञ्छिवस्य परितुष्टये । तथा फलैश्च दीपैश्च नैवेद्यैर्गंधधूपकैः

ghṛtena dīpayeddīpāñchivasya parituṣṭaye | tathā phalaiśca dīpaiśca naivedyairgaṃdhadhūpakaiḥ

شیو کی کامل رضا کے لیے گھی سے چراغ جلانے چاہییں۔ اسی طرح پھل، چراغ، نَیویدیہ (بھोग)، خوشبو اور دھوپ بھی نذر کی جائیں۔
