mā bhayaṃ kriyatāṃ sarvāḥ pāpādasmātsulocanāḥ | bhaviṣyāṇāṃ tathānyeṣāṃ bhaviṣyati phalapradaḥ | hatyāṃśo yo hi sarvāsāṃ yathākāmitvameva ca
“اے خوش چشموں! اس گناہ کے سبب خوف نہ کرو۔ آنے والے زمانوں میں تمہارے لیے اور دوسروں کے لیے بھی یہ ثمر دینے والا ہوگا۔ کیونکہ قتل کے گناہ کا جو حصہ تم سب نے اٹھایا ہے، وہ تمہیں مراد پوری ہونے کی نعمت بھی عطا کرے گا۔”
Bṛhaspati
Tirtha: Kedāra
Type: kshetra
Listener: Dvija audience; internal addressees are ‘sarvāḥ sulochanāḥ’ (the women)
Scene: Bṛhaspati reassures the fair-eyed women: fear dissolves; the atmosphere shifts to relief and hope, with an aura of boon-giving potency surrounding the group.
Through divinely guided dharma, even a burden can be transmuted into a future source of benefit, restoring order and granting boons.
The Kedārakhaṇḍa backdrop implies Kedāra’s purificatory power and dharmic resolution, though the verse focuses on boons and atonement.
None explicitly; it promises future fruit (phala) and wish-fulfilment tied to the accepted ‘portion’ (aṃśa) of sin.
