धूमात्परमयोवह्निर्धूमवत्प्रतिभासते । प्रकृत्यंतर्गस्त्वं हि लक्ष्यसे ज्ञानिसंभवः । प्रकृत्यंतर्गतस्त्वं हि मायाव्यक्तिरितीयसे
dhūmātparamayovahnirdhūmavatpratibhāsate | prakṛtyaṃtargastvaṃ hi lakṣyase jñānisaṃbhavaḥ | prakṛtyaṃtargatastvaṃ hi māyāvyaktiritīyase
جیسے آگ دھوئیں سے پرے ہو کر بھی دھوئیں والی دکھائی دے سکتی ہے، ویسے ہی آپ—پرکرتی سے ماورا ہو کر بھی—عارفوں میں گیان کے ظہور کے سبب پرکرتی کے اندر جیسے محسوس ہوتے ہیں۔ اور جب پرکرتی کے اندر نظر آئیں تو آپ کو مایا کی ظاہر کرنے والی شکتی کہا جاتا ہے۔
