ā́ tiṣṭha vṛtrahan ráthaṃ yuktā́ te bráhmaṇā hárī | arvācīnáṃ su te máno grā́vā kṛṇotu vagnúnā | upayā́magṛhīto ’sī́ndrāya tvā ṣoḍaśín | eṣá te yónir índrāya tvā ṣoḍaśíne
Translation
Mount thou, O Vṛtra-slayer, the chariot: yoked for thee are the two bays by the power of sacred speech. Let the pressing-stone, with its stirring impulse, make thy mind well turned hither. Thou art taken with the Upayāma for Indra, O Ṣoḍaśin: this is thy womb— for Indra, O Ṣoḍaśin.
