स॒वि॒ता प्र॑थ॒मेऽह॑न्न॒ग्निर्द्वि॒तीये॑ वा॒युस्तृ॒तीय॑ आदि॒त्यश्च॑तु॒र्थे च॒न्द्रमा॑: पञ्च॒म ऋ॒तुः ष॒ष्ठे म॒रुत॑: सप्त॒मे बृह॒स्पति॑रष्ट॒मे । मि॒त्रो न॑व॒मे वरु॑णो दश॒म इन्द्र॑ एकाद॒शे विश्वे॑ दे॒वा द्वा॑द॒शे
savitā́ prathamé' hánn agnír dvitī́ye vāyús tṛtī́ya ādityáś caturthé candrámāḥ pañcamá ṛtúḥ ṣaṣṭhé marútaḥ saptamé bृहáspátir aṣṭamé | mitró navamé váruṇo daśamá índra ekādaśé víśve devā dvādaśé
Savitar on the first day; Agni on the second; Vāyu on the third; Āditya on the fourth; the Moon on the fifth; the Season on the sixth; the Maruts on the seventh; Bṛhaspati on the eighth; Mitra on the ninth; Varuṇa on the tenth; Indra on the eleventh; the All-gods on the twelfth.
