Transliteration tád ídāsa bhuváneṣu jyéṣṭhaṃ yáto jajñá ugrás tvéṣa-nṛ́mṇaḥ | sadyó jajñānó ní riṇāti śátrūn ánu yáṃ víśve mádanty ū́māḥ ||
Translation That verily is the foremost in the worlds, from whom was born the fierce one of flashing manly might. Newly born, he straightway thrusteth down the foes,—he after whom all exulting powers rejoice.
