Transliteration
tásmād yajñā́t sarvahúta ṛ́caḥ sā́māni jajñire | chándāṃsi jajñire tásmād yájus tásmād ajāyata
Translation
From that Sacrifice, the All-offering, were born the Ṛc-verses and the Sāman-chants; from it were born the metres; from it the Yajus was brought forth.
