दे॒वं ब॒र्हिर्वारि॑तीनां दे॒वमिन्द्रं॑ वयो॒धसं॑ दे॒वं दे॒वम॑वर्धयत् । क॒कुभा॒ छन्द॑सेन्द्रि॒यं यश॒ इन्द्रे॒ वयो॒ दध॑द्वसु॒वने॑ वसु॒धेय॑स्य वेतु॒ यज॑
de·vám barhír vā́ritīnām de·vám índraṁ vayo·dhásaṁ de·vám de·vám avardhayat | kakúbhā́ chándasendriyáṁ yáśa índre váyo dádhad vasu·váne vasu·dhéyasya vétu yája
The divine Barhis, (that which keeps off) the obstructers, strengthened the god Indra, the establisher of vigour. With the Kakubh metre (it strengthened) his Indra-might; placing in Indra glory and vigour, for the winning of goods, for the establishing of wealth—let it obtain (it): do thou sacrifice!
