दे॒वी उ॒षासा॒नक्ता॑ दे॒वमिन्द्रं॑ वयो॒धसं॑ दे॒वी दे॒वम॑वर्धताम् । अ॒नु॒ष्टुभा॒ छन्द॑सेन्द्रि॒यं बल॒मिन्द्रे॒ वयो॒ दध॑द्वसु॒वने॑ वसु॒धेय॑स्य वीतां॒ यज॑
devī́ uṣā́sā náktā devám índraṃ vayo̱dhásaṃ devī́ devám avardhatām | anuṣṭúbhā chándasendriyáṃ bálaṃ índre̱ vayo̱ dádhad vasuváne vasudhéyasya vītā́ṃ yája
The goddesses Dawn and Night, bestowers of vigour, (these) divine ones—may they strengthen the god Indra. With the Anuṣṭubh metre (I establish) Indra’s might: I place strength, the vigour, in Indra; in the winning of the Vasus—towards the establishing of wealth—let the twain come hither and partake: Sacrifice!
